November is often the month we start guiding our first ice fishing trips of the winter. It usually is not until late November (around Thanksgiving time) before we are comfortable with taking guests out on the ice of our local Mat-Su Valley lakes.
December almost always has good ice conditions and some of the better fishing of the winter. Check back in November and December 2017 to see our latest Alaska fishing reports on this page.
