Fishing Daytrips
6 hour Guided Salmon
Fishing - $130 per person
This is the standard guided fishing trip purchased by most of our guests. Our
Alaska king salmon fishing season runs from May 10 -- July 13, and trips for
silver, sockeye, chum, and pink salmon are scheduled from July 14 -- September
10. By regulation, only artificial lures may be used during king salmon season
on all streams we fish except the Deshka River, and we also fish artificial
lures or flies to reduce hooking mortality when catch and release fishing. Trips
are scheduled to last a full 6 hours, or until each guest has caught / kept a
limit of salmon, whichever occurs first. Seriously injured fish (guide's
judgment) will be kept as part of the daily bag limit. All fishing ends when the
last member of a party keeps their daily bag limit. Alaska fishing regulations
will be followed.
8 hour Guided Salmon Fishing
(groups of 4 or more anglers)
- $170 per person
This trip provides 2 additional hours of guided fishing and, consequently, a
better opportunity to catch more and / or larger salmon. This is a popular
option for king salmon anglers who have a limited number of days to fish, and
want to increase their chances of catching trophy-sized fish. When a group of 4
- 6 guests chooses our 8 hour trip, we have the option of fishing additional
rivers including the Deshka River (where you can fish bait for king salmon) and
other tributaries of the Susitna River.
Same stipulations as on our
6 hour trips apply.
Midnight Special (4
or more anglers - 8 hrs)
- $250 per person

Fish all night under Alaskašs midnight sun on our most extreme fishing trip. We
schedule our 8 hour Midnight Special to run from 8 p.m. until 4 a.m. This is a
Deshka River king salmon trip guided in June or early July at times when fishing
is open 24 hours per day. The Midnight Special provides guests an opportunity to
harvest two daily king salmon bag limits on the same trip (one limit before
midnight and one limit after) and also allows fishermen to fish the magic
evening and early morning hours with the least fishing pressure on the river.
For scheduling reasons this uniquely Alaskan trip has our most limited
availability, so please call NOW for best selection of prime fishing dates.
Boat Charters - $520 for 6 hours
or $680 for 8 hours
A boat charter gives your group exclusive use of
the guide and boat for the specified length of time. Prices are based on groups
up to 4 people in size. You could add additional people to your trip at our
normal per seat costs of $130 for 6 hours or $170 for 8 hours.
Drop Off Fishing - $50 per
person / $100 Minimum
We run you up or down Little Susitna River to a
prime fishing and/or camping spot, and then you are on your own until we come
back and pick you up at the appointed time. You supply your own gear. Drop off
prices are for a round trip, and drop offs and pickups are scheduled during
hours we are not running guided trips. Our large guide boats comfortably carry
lots of gear (even canoes or rafts), but additional trips for excess gear will
cost extra. Drop offs trips can be scheduled as daytrips or camping trips with
a later pickup date.
4 hour Guided Winter
Ice Fishing - $75 per person
Trip includes resident Alaskan guide, ice fishing rods, reels,
tackle, bait, and ice fishing tips and will be run on one of several
Mat-Su Valley Lakes. Fish for rainbow trout, Dolly Varden - Arctic Char, king
salmon, or silver salmon. Our Alaska ice fishing season runs from late November
to early April.

Three 6 hour guided Alaska salmon fishing trips, 4 nights Wasilla area lodging
in spacious suite with kitchen, continental breakfast, fish freezing, and
coin-operated laundry. Upgrade your guided
fishing to 8-hour days for $820 per person plus tax.
#2 Alaska Fishing Vacation -
$1115 per person (plus tax)
Five 6 hour guided Alaska salmon fishing trips,
6 nights Wasilla area lodging in spacious suite with kitchen,
continental breakfast, fish freezing, and coin-operated laundry. Upgrade your
guided fishing to 8-hour days for $1,315 per person plus tax.
Additional Savings -
Since our Alaska fishing lodges pricing is based on groups of 2 people,
significant additional savings are often available for families or larger groups
willing to share Agate Inn's spacious lodging accommodations - please inquire
for a price quote with added savings for your family or group.

Trips are scheduled on a first come first
served basis with a 50% down payment required to reserve your choice
of date and time. For trips scheduled by phone, we will hold your
space up to 7 days awaiting arrival of your down payment check. The
balance will be due at the start of your trip. To start the
reservation process read the conditions below then complete and

not hear from us in 3 days please try again, as sometimes e-mail
does not come through. We will contact you to confirm your
reservations.
